Health Ministry


Health Nursing Parish Nursing Program offered by National Health Episcopal Ministries at Bishop Clagget Center in Buckeystown, Maryland., October 5-10. Tuition: $400. Room and Board: $400 double occupancy
or $500 single occupancy. This residental program uses the curriculum of the International Parish Nurse Resource Center (IPNRC) and includes a component specific to doing health ministry in the Episcopal Church.
It has been approved for 40 contact hours of continuing education credits for registered nurses. The course is open to non-nurses interested in health ministry in their parishes. In addition to the program, extensive handouts, and contact hours, participants get a certificate and pin from IPNRC, the manual, "Steps to a Health Ministry in your local Episcopal Congregation," by Jean Denton, a year's membership in NEHM and in the IPNRC.
