Diocese of Easton

The members of the local Chapter look forward to seeing you!

A special screening of the award-winning documentary, "For the Bible Tells Me So," will be held Jan. 15 at Trinity Cathedral, Easton, at 6:00 p.m., with discussion following. See the posting elsewhere on the Diocese of Easton's website for further details.

Now in our fourth year of monthly meetings, our current schedule has us meeting on the final Sunday afternoons, 1:00 to 3:00, of each and every month at Easton's House of Hunan Chinese Restaurant, 201 Marlboro Avenue, 21601. Those planning to attend are asked to "RSVP" to Paul Winters or to Eddie Vance (see email addresses below) so that sufficient seating may be reserved for the monthly luncheons.Integrity adheres strictly to the concept and practice of sanctuary. Anonymity is assured.

Integrity is the international outreach ministry from within the Episcopal Church to gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders, and their friends. It seeks to encourage and to provide safe worshiping communities to and for GLBTs, via bringing the church to GLBTs, and bringing GLBTs to the church.

After twenty months of meeting faithfully in Easton, the Eastern Maryland Chapter of Integrity believes the time has come to spread God's loving message of full inclusivity throughout the diocese, hence the road show approach to the monthly meetings. Integrity will continue its more localized outreach, as one church within each of the Diocese of Easton's nine counties will be visited in the coming year. Clergy and congregations are asked to publicize in Sunday bulletins, newsletters, and Sunday announcements the Integrity meetings in their areas.

Paul Winters (410-988-2079; wodaj@hotmail.com) and Eddie Vance (410-634-2707; 410-924-0927; cevance@verizon.net) are the conveners of the local Chapter. Kelley Malone is the Chapter's liaison to Diocesan Council. And the Chapter has the blessing of Bishop Shand.
